APA Lab Report-Bouncing Balls |
Cube Monument |
My lab report was about the Bouncing Balls Project my group and I did in class. Our question was what type of ball (Tennis ball, Basketball, Soccer ball, Baseball, Golf Ball) will bounce the highest on the cement? Our hypothesis was, if we bounce the golf ball on the cement floor, then the ball will bounce the highest because it is the densest. Our results were that the basketball bounced the highest and the golf ball the second highest.
TED ProjectStudents create a wind turbine with their group members, brainstorming how to build it and cooperating with one another to finish it.

Lost In Space ProjectWe had to create a bottle rocket for our Lost In Space project, making to so it has to be built good enough for the egg to survive the launch and impact.
At first we planned on having the wings be a bit rounder and the cone to be a bit circular, but the wings ended up being triangular and the cone was remaining circular, though in the picture below was the rocket after the launch when the cone fell off. Our egg was the one to survive the landing. Process paper below. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1-r6rncSPwEEA7YgO2rakfrSX2aVds1oK_2xL3tnnIm0/edit?usp=sharing |
I worked with Nada to create a cube for our monument, it's a pyramid type of thing. I mainly painted all of the styrofoam squares black and printed out the pictures for our cube. Nada's pictures contained her favorite TV show, Once Upon a Time, and my pictures were just of different anime shows such as Naruto, Black Butler, Tokyo Ghoul, and Hetalia Axis Powers. We pasted the pictures on our side of the square and write our names next to them. After that, I helped Nada with the building and held the cube together so it wouldn't fall apart as we stuck it together with super glue.
Be Heard Project Students create headphones that have designs relating to your poem. Students write a process paper explaining how you made the headphones and why you chose your design.
